Dex is joining Keep Phoenix Beautiful to host its first annual I Recycle Phoenix Festival. This Free Event Helps Valley Residents Recycle (Almost!) Everything!

Partnering with a number of local and national organizations, the family-friendly event will include music and entertainment provided by Radio Disney at their sustainability village hosted by SRP, free food and drinks courtesy of Republic Services and Nestle Waters and environmental education for kids. It will also provide free recycling for a number of items including those that are not typically accepted in local curbside programs, including:

  • Phone books
  • Paper shredding and recycling (Limit: Five free boxes, all boxes past limit require $5 donation)
  • Pens, crayons, highlighters and markers
  • Golf balls
  • Rechargeable batteries
  • Clothing, shoes, house wares and small appliances
  • E-waste, including computers, cell phones and on-site hard drive removal & shreddings
  • Books
  • Toner and inkjet cartridges
  • Non-perishable food items

The I Recycle Phoenix Festival will take place in the parking lot for the Phoenix Municipal Stadium. Participants are encouraged to enter at Van Buren and 56th Street to easily locate parking and recycling opportunities.
